Inspired by Marcus Garvey’s words, “A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin, and culture is like a tree without roots,” Jasper’s artwork is dedicated to the celebration of culture and the intimate portrayal of individuals through a narrative lens.

A self-taught artist, Jasper’s artistic journey began at a young age, with an early passion for painting that developed into a focused exploration of portraiture.

His talent was first recognised when his work was exhibited in the Royal Academy of Arts Young Artists’ Summer Show in 2021. More recently, he received the Young Artist Award at the Almenara Art Awards in Córdoba and appeared on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year Season 10.

Jasper is based in London, UK.
